Labiaplasty, or labial reduction, is a surgical treatment which can reduce the size of the labia, and also change its shape. You may be unhappy with the shape of the Labia. Sometimes it can cause Hygiene issues or discomfort during sports. It may also affect your self-confidence as you may be hesitant to attend the Gym or Swimming Pool.

There are 3 different procedures and your Consultant Gynaecologist can explain these at your appointment.

Labia Minora reduction

Labia Majora reduction

Clitoral Hood reduction

You may need one or all of these procedures. Labiaplasty can be done under Local Anaesthesia or General Anaesthesia. Usually you can go home the same day. You can return to normal activities in a few days.
